Hello Tristan,

Yes, email spam is an issue. But as a credible provider (or in our customers’ case online-sellers), the sender will stick to legal framework. In in USA (CANSPAM) and in Europe we have several laws forbidding spam.

The whole thing has to be viewed as permission-marketing. Unless the reciever gives the sender as permission to send newsletters, mails should not be sent.

Hope that helps you design “clean” mail campaigns, or protects you from “dirty” ones!
